First in the instrumentation industry to be certified ISO 9001

In order to ensure that our services and products meet the requirements of our customers and to maintain and improve their quality, the SANKO Group prioritized acquisition of the ISO 9001 certification, an international quality assurance standard, in the 1990s, and has been working to strengthen quality assurance.

In 1994, SANKO Automatic Equipment (now SANKO MATERIAL SUPPLY Co.) obtained certification for the design and manufacture of measuring fittings.The following year, SANKO CONTROLS obtained certification for design, production, and maintenance/calibration of instrumentation equipment. By 1996, SANKO Co. obtained certification for all aspects of instrumentation operations. At that time, SANKO CONTROLS was the first company in Japan in the instrumentation industry to obtain the certification, which was later extended to all other group companies.

We have and will continue to pursue quality, environment, and safety to ensure that our services and products are highly exceptional for our customers.

Employees choose and tackle issues on their own

For 40 years, the SANKO Group has been conducting small group activities in which employees form cooperative teams to set and tackle their own issues. Based on our policies on quality, environment, and safety, we work on all kinds of problems related to customers, workplaces, work sites, and operations (technology) from the perspective of daily operations. Through these aspects, issues and targets are set to work on as a team. This bottom-up approach raises the level of quality, environment, and safety, and simultaneously improves individual abilities and organizational strength.

Safety Management

The SANKO Group will maintain a high level of safety and health management by placing the highest priority on respect for human life, eliminating accidents involving people engaged in its operations, preventing loss or damage to people and property, and maintaining the health of each and every employee in a spirit of harmony and unity.

We are committed to the principle of respect for human life and promote safety and health activities with the participation of all employees to maintain good health and provide high quality technology and services with no accidents or injuries.

In the spirit of harmony, we will contribute to the development of a more affluent society by providing high quality technology and services for our customers’ satisfaction as our first priority.

Based on this corporate philosophy, the SANKO Group’s first priority is to contribute to the development of society through business activities. In carrying out our business activities, we are aware that we are a member of society, and we strive to satisfy our customers, prevent environmental pollution, and protect the environment in all areas of our business activities. We aim to contribute to building a sustainable society by developing technologies that protect both the environment and quality of our products and services.

The SANKO Group keeps achieving our customers’ satisfaction and harmony with the global environment by promoting quality and environmental management systems for all of our activities, products, and services based on the following policies:

（1）The SANKO Group will always be aware of the needs and expectations of stakeholders regarding quality and the environment. We will provide highly reliable technologies and services that meet our customers’ requirements, relevant laws and regulations, and environmentally safe products and services to gain customer satisfaction and trust. We intend to protect the environment through the prevention of pollution and sustainable use of resources. We also aim to reduce environmental impact by cooperating with local environmental policies and environmental measures at our customers’ facilities.

（2）The SANKO Group shall establish quality and environmental targets, formulate and implement plans, and periodically review and continuously improve its quality and environmental management system. In addition, the SANKO Group will promote quality control and environmental conservation activities through our small group activities in order to achieve both business development and social responsibility.

（3）These quality and environmental policies are published in the quality and the environmental manual, and we thoroughly educate and train all group employees and ask for cooperation from our subcontractors and suppliers. The SANKO Group will also make this policy available to the public by posting it on the group’s website.
